Earlier in December, Callaway Golf anounced the release of their new FT-i Driver, which will be available from retail stores on February 15, 2007.

The new Callaway FT-i Driver features a revolutionary square clubhead design that expands on Callaway Golf’s superior weight-shifting Fusion(R) technology platform that uses multiple materials in clubhead construction. The new 460cc Complete Inertial Design(TM) precisely positions discretionary weight in the outer corners of the clubhead and was designed to produce the highest total inertia of any driver on the market. The resulting resistance to both horizontal and vertical twisting provides unrivalled forgiveness and more distance on every drive.

Callaway plans to show the world how tht FT-i hits at the 2007 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, in January. Beginning in February the drive should sell for $625.
