Völkl Tennis is the first company to use a revolutionary new material to develop a new generation of unique high tech tennis rackets. Originally created for other graphite based products, Völkl uses DNX technology in the making of tennis rackets. DNX is 25 times stronger than regular carbon fibers. The complex production procedure makes the creation of the new DNX Composite very costly, making it too expensive to produce mass quantities for now. Völkl Tennis is only using the DNX fibers in strategically important areas of a tennis racket, taking advantage of the revolutionary properties at a reasonable price for consumers.
Check out this clip of Mats Wilander talking about the increased power of the new DNX rackets. In addition to that power boost Wilander also speaks praises saying DNX technology rackets play with ”a lot more control” as well.
